Governance

Independent oversight. Documented policies.

A4E is governed by an independent board chaired by civil-rights leader Eddie Rye Jr., with members drawn from Seattle Public Schools, faith institutions, and the tech industry. We operate under a written conflict-of-interest policy requiring annual disclosure from every director and officer, and we retain an independent auditor to review financial statements every fiscal year. The board reviews program outcomes, financials, and executive compensation quarterly.
